The success of implementing the National Strategy greatly depends on a partnership approach being adopted.

Substance misuse issues are complex and often people experiencing drug or alcohol problems face a number of other issues such as family breakdown, unemployment and homelessness. Tackling substance misuse is not the responsibility of any one organisation, but the responsibility of all agencies and members of the DAAT.

The Drug and Alcohol Action Team includes representatives from the following organisations / agencies:
